Hello everyone,
Today is the first day that CineJourneys branding is primarily online. We are calling this a “soft launch,” and although the items to fix on the website are few, they may be noticeable.
First off, what we are most excited to share are the community tools. The forums are a big part of that, but they are the tip of the iceberg. We have groups, activity feeds, photos, videos, and so much more. We also have Journeys and Guides sections, and we also have posts and podcasts.
There are a couple weird things that we’ll be fixing. We know that the account icon located on the top right of the homepage does not work, but if you login, you will see a super-powered account section at the top, and that will lead you to all the community tools.
The Journey section has two links, but will eventually have one. If you want to see the upcoming Journeys, click “Register” because details and registration are on the same page.
There are other minor issues such as spacing and formatting that we’ll be working on, but the majority of the site is online now. We have a group for our current Japanese Films Journey (please note that group is hidden unless you are registered) that is already active, and people have been joining. We’ll have more groups, forums, and a lot of other bells and whistles coming soon.
We expect you’ll love it, and there’s so much more to come. This is a Journey for all of us!
