@Chris love that you called it “Moneybag.” Not sure if that was a joke or typo, but I laughed. That would be a good title for a film about Steinbrenner.
I’m also interested in the reactions to Moneyball. I was also into sabermetrics for a short while, and I think a lot of that stems from just being into stats. They are and always have been a big part of the game. But I’ve seen a lot of critiques that they’ve made baseball less interesting. It will be interesting to unpack all that.
