We are starting the year with Sirkenheimer, which begins with Douglas Sirk’s All that Heaven Allows and the spiritual “remakes” (which are almost re-imaginings by Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Todd Haynes. We are also pairing each director with another film from their library that we feel complements the primary selections, plus an optional film from the same director.
