This June we will be exploring the films of the legendary Spanish filmmaker, Pedro Almodóovar. We’ll look at his visual style including a vibrant color palette, his exploration of relationships and family dynamics through film, his practice of surrealism, and also how he portrays gender and sexuality.
We will hold two calls with a brief presentation and discussion. There are five recommended films in total and all of Almodóvar’s filmography is optional.
