We are thrilled to share that we reached our A24 New Wave fundraising goal last week, and have announced stretch goals. We’re already well on our way to the next stretch goal, which is free access to the A24 Journey in April. There’s already a lot of excitement around that journey and we think it will be a great way to celebrate the book!
We already shared in the Kickstarter Guide that the first illustrated sketch would be ready soon. It is, and we’re thrilled to unveil the May Queen. This illustration will be in the book, plus it will be available as perks through the Kickstarter campaign.
By making our fundraising goal, we have already unlocked a goal that we’d been waiting to share. You may have seen Lanthimos Adaptations as an upcoming Online Class. We’ll be adding more details soon, but the best news is that all Kickstarter backers will get free access to this lecture about Poor Things and how it was essentially adapted from two novels. Francesca gives a high level overview of what she’ll plan to cover. This will also be free for Magic Hour Subscribers. We are very excited!
There are more stretch goals to be unlocked, and you can see all of those in Backer Update #8. These include items, more access, and hopefully the book in full cover. That’s our primary goal, but the printing for color is quite expensive. There are more stretch goals to announce including another illustration and another book.
