Baseball Journey April 2024
We are pleased to announce registration and the details of our 2024 Baseball Journey. We are massive baseball fans, and look forward to celebrating the national pastime through film and media.
Here are the Innings:
- Inning 1: Little League, Looney Tunes, & Analytics: Bad News Bears (1976) / Baseball Bugs (1946) / Moneyball (2011)
- Inning 2: Ringers and F*ck-ups: Major League (1989) / The Simpsons: Homer at the Bat (1992)/ Everybody Wants Some!!(2016)
- Inning 3: Heroes & Villains: 30 For 30: You Don’t Know Bo (2012)/ The Natural (1984) / Bob’s Burgers: The Unnatural (2013) / Steve Bartman: Catching Hell (2011)
The last inning is a little much, but the documentaries should be easy watches and we can’t leave out The Natural. We will talk about all of the films, although watching them is optional.
